Getting medically discharged and know my lump sum payment, but when will I get it?

I’ve already completed my Medical Evaluation Board and have been told my compensation will be, but wasn’t told when I’ll get the lump sum. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive it?

You are suppose to get it within 2 weeks after you discharge. They will offer to mail it to you. I took 20 days of Sepertation leave (to find a place to live, it’s free leave and they have to grant it to you if yo ask for it). When my 20 days were over, my check was waiting.
The few people we know that got lump sum received it about 30 days after they finished out processing. Check with post finance about when you should or would get it.
